The short version
This site sets one cookie, and it stores your language. No advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, no session tokens. Most of what other sites keep in cookies, this site keeps — if at all — in your own browser's local storage, where we cannot read it from a server.
Cookies we set
That is the complete list. NEXT_LOCALE contains a three-letter language code and nothing else — no user id, no sequence number, no fingerprint.
Managing it
Delete it any time via your browser's site-data or cookie settings for this domain. The site then falls back to your browser's language settings (and to Accept-Language), and the switcher simply writes it again the next time you pick a language.
What we do not set
- No advertising or marketing cookies. There is no ad tech on this site.
- No third-party tracking cookies. No social pixels, no fingerprinting scripts, no session-replay tools.
- No consent banner, because there is nothing of that kind to consent to. If our data practices ever change so that a banner is required, one will appear before any such cookie is set.
Local storage, not cookies
The site keeps your in-progress work in your browser's localStorage so a refresh or a closed tab does not lose it. This data is on your device only — it is never sent to our servers, and we could not read it from there.
Clearing it: press Esc (the panic button wipes local storage, session storage and the visible page in one keystroke), or use your browser's "Clear site data" for this domain. The drafts listed above are also removed automatically when you successfully submit them.
Service worker and cache
As an installable PWA, the site registers a service worker that caches app assets and recent API responses in your browser's Cache Storage so it can open offline. This cache is ordinary site data: clear it with your browser's site-data controls. The panic button does not clear the service worker's cache — only your drafts and storage.
Vercel Web Analytics
Page views are counted by Vercel Web Analytics, which the vendor documents as cookieless: it sets no cookie of its own and provides no cross-site identifier. It loads from this site's own domain in production. You can turn it off entirely with any script-blocking extension (or by blocking /_vercel/insights/) and the site will not notice.
Do Not Track
There is no tracking to signal — but for completeness: we do not respond to DNT headers because there is no behavioural data being collected in the first place.
Changes
The date at the top shows when this page was last revised. If the cookie or local-storage inventory changes, this table changes with it.
